The game can be set up in the backyard or the beach. (The bases are not shown above. See picture below.) There is no comparable net on the market. This is the only net that will stop a small beach ball. The balls will go through both volleyball and badminton nets.

Beach paddle tennis is played with regular inexpensive beach paddles and balls, such as Pro Kadima or Smashball Paddle Sets ($10.50 on Amazon). The ball also is the standard hard rubber ball that you buy at any beach store. It's approximately 1 inch in diameter.

The net for singles is 7 and 1/2 feet long and 1 and 1/2 feet wide. The top of the net is 6 and 1/ 2 feet off the ground at the side poles, and about 6 feet in the middle because of the net sag (like a tennis net sag) The net for doubles is 10 feet long and 1 and 1/2 feet wide.

Set-up takes less than 3 minutes - there is a simple base that holds the poles up. You don't need to dig holes. No support strings are needed.

We sell the following game sets:

  • Singles Version with stand -  7 and 1/ 2 half feet long
  • Doubles Version with stand - 10 feet long
  • Singles Version without stand -  7 and 1/ 2 half feet long
